To encourage and support one another, accept him whose faith is weak without passing judgment on disputable matters. Romans 14:2. To
bear the infirmities of the weak by word of testimony; a matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. Dueteronomy 19:15.
Soul 2 Soul is a love and encouragement Ministry that embraces the lost and the discouraged. We welcome anyone who is in need of
spiritual support for whatever may be blocking them from the sunlight of the Holy Spirit through scripture and other members' experiences.Soul 2 Soul was established
at New Generation Church under the guidance of Pastor Jackson in September, 2001. Sister Beverlyn
Staples-Horace had a vision to be of service to individuals who were in need of understanding and encouragement when it came to
disputable matters. Some of these issues were typically overlooked by society in the religious community. These issues included drug and
alcohol addiction, sexual addictions, extramarital issues, gambling, over spending, over eating, etc. Soul 2 Soul has endeavored to reach out
to such individuals by providing a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment for them to come and share, and receive support from one another. Soul 2 Soul meets every week
for 1 to 1 1/2 hours with one or more Soul 2 Soul Ministry Leaders present each week. Usually all Ministry
Leaders are present, as well as the Spiritual Advisor, who sits as a facilitator and offers suggestions through scripture reading. Each Ministry
Leader has experience in one or more of the areas discussed and has been delivered from this affliction by the Grace of God we feel, to be
in position to be able to help lift and encourage another, along with scripture and prayer. If by chance, there is an issue that no one has
had experience with, we read scripture and pray the situation to be worked out according to the Will of God. In Soul 2 Soul, we recognize that sometimes God works through
us in our afflictions, to be able to show us that He is made strong in our weakness. Soul 2 Soul
Meets every Friday from 7p.m. to 8:30p.m.
